The moment we have all been waiting for has arrived! You have met you little sweetheart and all you want to do is hug and kiss them all day. The fresh smell of baby has you smiling and feeling so grateful as they are now safe in your arms. It's now time to think about capturing your little one in a way that you will love!
It is important to take their session as soon as we can when they are born, this is because they sleep longer and they naturally are so flexible from being in the womb that they can be posed in adorable positions safely. Every baby is different. I will never put your baby at risk, I work with baby's flow, meaning that if your baby doesn't want to be placed a certain way, I won't in any way force it, I will just find a more simple way to pose them so they are comfortable and happy. Baby's Safety ALWAYS comes first. I know how to handle babies and am certified to do it in a safe way that won't hurt your baby in any way. I am also First aid and CPR certified in Florida, so your baby is in safe hands.
Babies won't stay this small for long, sadly they grow and change so fast! So to capture them as newborns is so worth it.
At our Studio, we have a wide variety selections of colors for wraps, headbands, and fun setups to use for your newborn session you will love!
You have just given life to your baby but I know and understand that birth recovery can be tough and our body takes time to heal. All you should have in mind is taking care of your baby and taking time to recover after giving birth. This is why I also provide Newborn sessions at the comfort of your our own home!(Available for a limited time) Yes! I will travel to you! (within 45 minutes max from studio). This means not having to worry about packing and moving with your baby after giving birth :)

Fresh 48 sessions are truly my favorite! This is a mini session where I will show up at your hospital the 2nd day on noon after you gave birth to capture your baby at their purest form with mom, dad, and siblings. You will LOVE this session, I'm sure of it! And don't worry, You will have time to do your makeup, if desired.
Yes, The hospital offers a photo shoot, but you don't get a whole lot of images that aren't edited in a beautiful way. With us, we will capture your baby with detailed shots, in a totally different way and perspective that you will love! You will see where your baby slept, their cute squishy baby rolls, get close up photos of how precious their fingers and toes were and much more! See below for a preview of how a Fresh session looks like :)
For Birth sessions you will have to make sure photography is allowed and i'm given permission, in the hospital/place you will be at whether it's a natural or c-section birth. I will keep in contact with you from the time you get your contractions or if water breaks. Since all births are unpredictable, Your birth is not guaranteed to be photographed but can always be transferred to a Fresh 48 session.
I will be in contact with you through email and text messages from booking day, available 24/7 if you have any questions in mind, until I hand deliver you the Packaged prints to your front door. I will go the extra mile so you can be happy, you can always count on me.

What to expect
Your little one is now fresh out the oven, congrats! Now it's the perfect time for their newborn session :)
The length of a newborn session usually last between 2-4 hours. Every baby is different so how long the session will last will depend on how your baby is that day. When you book your newborn session I will email you a Newborn session prep guide. Please read it and try your best your to follow it. In doing so your session will run smoother and your baby will be in a nice deep sleep for their session. know that not all babies fall asleep on their photo shoot but that's okay. It's a new experience for them and since they will constantly be handled and positioned differently it is likely that some babies will have a harder time getting to sleep. but no worries, I will also take photos of your precious baby awake because they are as gorgeous awake as they are asleep :)
The studio will be (or your home should be) around 75 Degrees F, nice and warm, just how babies love it! I recommend being photoready with your hubby and children because I will be taking parent and sibling shots first. Bring extra comfy and loose clothing so you can relax while I then focus and put all my attention to your baby :)
For parent and sibling photos I recommend either a polo or dressy shirt for men and a pretty blouse for mom. Neutral colors are best (Dark blue, Black, grey (light or dark), tans, creams, whites...) or pastel colors (baby blue, light pink, creams). Stay away from strong and neon colors, and clothes with patterns because it will take the focus off of your baby. You will be photographed from waist up, but just in case you can always wear black or jeans.
Your baby's safety will always come first. I will never force your baby in a position they are not comfortable doing. Babies are very flexible but know that not all babies can do certain poses. I work around your baby and try my best to have them nice and fed with clean pampers at all times, this will help baby remain asleep longer and be comfortable.
We will take breaks when I feel that your baby needs to feed and have their diaper changed. Once they are nice and full with no gases and clean they will be more comfy and ready to continue.
Since you session can take up to 4 hours I will provide you with nice cold glass of water and some snacks for your children :) but you can also bring your own snacks (non-staining or too messy)
I will take over after getting the parent and sibling shots and will put my focus fully on your baby, by this time you can sit, watch Netflix, and relax. If for any reason I need assistance I would ask dad or grandma to help.
Know that Pee and poop can happen, either on you, me, or on props but that's okay! I don't want you to feel bad because that's what babies do when we least expect it. I always wash any wraps and props baby use so it's okay if accidents happen, trust me, All will come off :)
