Live Music Festival

I love music and have visited Jacksonville beach pavilion many times but not for an event or live music, until last weekend. To attend a live event in this place has always been on my bucket list, so when I heard that there was going to be a live music festival there, Sweet life contemporary christian music festival to be exact, I was so excited and had to attend.

When we first arrived, we listened to a couple of songs as we sat on the grass with the warmth of the sun warming us up. Then we took some time to look at the vendors and had our daughter play in the bounce houses they had. We ate a lot of the delicious street food that the festival offered and went back to enjoy the music. We also took some time to walk on the beach; and this one of our favorite things to do as a family. To end our day we went to one of our favorite restaurants, Sneakers sports grille. We enjoyed eating gator bites as an appetizer, my husband ate a full rack of ribs, I ate a western burger and my daughter, madelin, ate fries and ribs.

The day was a bit chilly when we first arrived to the festival but we enjoyed the event and embraced the cooler weather. Not only was there worship music for everyone to enjoy but there were many vendors selling amazing products and delicious street food to enjoy. I really liked how this festival was family friendly. There were bounce houses and a trampoline for kids that cost $10 to enjoy the whole day. My husband and I really enjoyed the music artists that were there on March 7th. I love festivals but even more when I feel comfortable to bring my family along.

Overall it was a great day full of our favorite christian music, food and family time.
